How it works
Words need at least four letters, may only use the seven letters (repeats are fine) and must include the centre letter. A pangram uses all seven. Scoring follows the usual rules: 1 point for a four-letter word, one point per letter for longer words, and 7 extra for a pangram.
The hints grid shows how many unfound words start with each letter at each length, and the two-letter list shows how many start with each pair. Both are computed from the words you haven't entered yet.
Our list (common English words from SCOWL) isn't the puzzle's official list: expect a few words the game accepts that we don't have, and a few we list that it rejects. Not affiliated with The New York Times.
